The Architect will provide overall direction, guidance, and definition of the architecture to support the business unit and IT strategies. This role participates as a top-level expert leading multiple efforts, or a single large effort in analysis, design, scope, and approach of a solution.
The qualified candidate must have experience in translating business needs into IT investments, and have lead the development of a technical architecture solution with multiple systems and disciplines.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Interface and coordinate tasks with the enterprise architecture team of resources as requiredCollaboratively document current state capabilities and architecture analysisCollaboratively lead the creation of target architecturesCollaboratively lead the definition IS investment strategies to meet business requirementsCollaboratively lead the definition of "Order of Magnitude" implementation and ongoing support costs for various investment optionsCollaboratively lead the production of architecture tradeoff analysisEstablish and maintain a trusted advisor and partnership relationship to business users and technical implementersCommunicate (sell/present) architecture vision within various projectsManage alignment of IT investments with the various business strategiesManage conflict relating to technical scope, approach, and platform usageWork with the Program Architect to Manage common architecture impacts across multiple projects and/or investmentsExperience: At least 5 years as an enterprise architect role acting as an individual contributor or leading a team in the design and implementation of one or more of the following: application and integration, data, technology, infrastructure, cloud, services and/or security architecture. Certification in one or more Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF, FEA, Zachman…)
