Data Entry TechnicianYoung at Heart Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry Technician. As a vital part of our data entry team, you will be responsible for ensuring prompt and professional entering of orders accurately and efficiently in order to correctly provide medications to our customers. Additionally, you will maintain a positive and pleasant demeanor with all customers and colleagues while accurately entering customer requests and processing refill requests.Responsibilities:Input customer and prescription data into the computer systemEnsure accuracy: right patient, right facility, right payor, right physician, right drug, right strength, right quantity, right SIGEnsure prompt service by assisting customers via phoneWork directly with customer facilities to enter accurate informationRespond to customer requests in a timely mannerWork to meet daily SLAWork with order entry team to ensure new and refill orders entered before cut-off timeEscalate any issues to Data Entry Lead or PharmacistParticipate in required trainingAttend all necessary training sessionsReview and follow all applicable policies and proceduresProvide Back-Up Customer Service functionsParticipate in required Customer Service training sessionsUtilize Lean Concepts to improve processesDocument issues and suggestions using CPAS and Rapid ImprovementsFollow documented procedures to ensure consistencyTroubleshoot any order issues as neededOther duties as assignedQualifications:Active pharmacy technician license from the Indiana State Board of Pharmacy preferred.Previous data entry experience.Working Conditions:Normal working hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with additional time as required based on daily workloads.Saturday shifts may be required to support customers.Participation in the on-call rotation is voluntary, with incentive pay provided.Data entry team members must work well together as a team.Physical Requirements:Sitting and working at a computer for up to 8 hours a day, minus scheduled breaks.Operating a desktop keyboard and mouse.Using a desk phone with either handset or wireless headset.Communicating with employees, patients, caregivers, and physicians by phone, fax, and email in a courteous and professional manner.We Proudly Offer:(Primarily) Monday - Friday Day ShiftClosed for 6 Paid Holidays14 Days of PTO in the first yearMultiple Healthcare PlansDental and Vision CoverageFree Life InsuranceSupplemental Insurance Plans401(k) Retirement Plan with a generous company matchSimple IRAMedical and Dependent Care Flex Spending Accounts$150 Initial Scrub Allowance, $50/year Continued AllowanceOnsite workout facilityJoin us at Young at Heart Pharmacy and become a valuable member of our dedicated team committed to providing exceptional customer service in the healthcare industry.
