Data Entry SpecialistWe are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist for a contract position. This role is responsible for managing inventory, performing data analysis, and supporting day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who can work independently with large datasets in a computer-focused environment.
This role requires individuals who are comfortable in a focused, heads-down role with minimal social interaction.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle all data entry for inventory management and day-to-day operational tasks.Manage third-party exchanges and work within a Property Management System (PMS).Focus on access and booking for members.Perform data entry and conduct forecasting and reforecasting of inventory, which constitutes a significant portion of the work.Utilize templates, find source data, and adhere to established checks and balances.Analyze and interpret mass data, identifying details and areas for correction.Required QualificationsCandidates must have experience working with large datasets for extended periods. This role requires individuals who are coachable, open to feedback, and can adapt in a dynamic environment where they will encounter challenges. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a focused, heads-down role.
The ability to speak up and ask for help when needed is important.Technical SkillsAdvanced knowledge of Excel is required, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Candidates should understand the concepts behind macros and be adept at problem-solving within Excel. They should be analytical thinkers not afraid of massive datasets.Preferred QualificationsAn accounting background is considered beneficial.Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.Experience with SQL to retrieve data from systems.Work EnvironmentThis role is fully onsite, particularly during the initial training period.
All necessary equipment, including a laptop, will be provided. The position requires the ability to work independently with a high degree of focus.
