Data Entry Operator IIThe Data Entry Operator II (DE2) is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering information provided to them from a variety of sources, including paper, media, fax and telephone. This position operates keyboard-controlled data entry devices such as a computer, key-operated magnetic tape, or disc encoder to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing. Job task requires skill in operating an alphanumeric keyboard, and an understanding of transcribing procedures and relevant data entry equipment.Duties specific to supporting the task may include:Accurately and efficiently perform data entry of forms and reports specific by assignment area and other forms as directed by supervisorPrepping, labeling and filing records in preparation for document imagingIdentifying and submitting potential problems or issues to appropriate level of managementPossessing a strong ability to navigate through various computer functions including accessing and utilizing web browsersRequired Qualifications:Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow policies and proceduresExperience in performing work requiring attention to detail and accuracyGood sense of time management and the ability to work under time constraintsUnderstanding of the importance of consistently delivering high-quality workWork as a team playerStrong sense of Customer ServiceBasic computer skills, including accurate use of keyboard, familiarity with web browsers and basic Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to type at minimum 40wpmAbility to frequently lift up to 40 poundsAbility to perform frequent repetitive motions using fingers, hands, wrists and armsAbility to apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed and in searching for, interpreting, selecting items to be entered from a variety of documented sourcesMust be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization.

Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Three months in current positionSome telephonic customer service skills preferredService Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits:This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act.
