Data Entry OperatorSigma Systems is seeking an experienced Data Entry Operator to provide front desk, administrative, and high-volume data entry support in an onsite environment. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, dependable, professional, and comfortable working with large volumes of data while maintaining accuracy and productivity.This role involves working with visitors and mail, completing basic enrollment and I-9-related forms, managing electronic files, preparing documents, and performing high-volume data entry at an average rate of 10,000+ keystrokes per hour.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform in-person front desk duties, including greeting and assisting visitorsSort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mailComplete basic enrollment and I-9-related formsPerform high-volume data entry with a target average of 10,000+ keystrokes per hourEnter data for envelopes, labels, form letters, and correspondenceAccess, update, and maintain information in computer databasesPerform basic electronic file management, including printing, copying, transferring, and deleting filesFormat and produce documents using standard office softwarePerform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionReview entered information and identify and correct errorsUse word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other computer applicationsOperate standard office equipment, including photocopiers, fax machines, and binding machinesFollow established procedures, instructions, and workflow requirementsMaintain a professional and courteous presence when interacting with visitors and staffRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in high-volume data entry, administrative support, or office operationsStrong typing and data entry skills with excellent accuracyAbility to achieve and maintain approximately 10,000+ keystrokes per hourStrong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errorsBasic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applicationsAbility to manage electronic files and perform basic document formattingAbility to perform basic numerical calculationsStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional demeanor when working with visitors, employees, and internal teamsPreferred SkillsPrevious front desk or reception experienceExperience handling I-9 or enrollment-related formsExperience working in a high-volume administrative environmentFamiliarity with electronic file management and database systemsExperience operating standard office equipmentStrong multitasking and prioritization abilitiesDemonstrated reliability and consistent attendanceWork Environment & Expectations100% onsite position in Boston, MAPunctuality and dependable attendance are essentialProfessional appearance and conduct are expectedMust be comfortable performing repetitive, high-volume data entryMust be able to work effectively in a structured, fast-paced office environment
