Shipping CoordinatorThe Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the shipment orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This role involves coordinating truck check-ins, prioritizing loading for on-time departures, proactively troubleshooting shipping-related issues, and processing and updating orders in various platforms while managing inventory.

The role involves cross departmental collaboration with sales, operations, and transportation teams as well as external vendors such as dispatchers and transportation teams. This role reports directly to the Senior Shipping Manager.This role requires schedule flexibility. The schedule will generally follow an every-other-week rotation between Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM PT, and Thursday through Monday, from 8AM to 5PM PT. Holidays may be required based on operational needs.ResponsibilitiesTrack and ensure trucks have been checked inMonitor and update all Estimated Time of Arrivals (ETA’s) from prior shift, follow up on any missing trucks or delayed ETA’sTrack inventory and communicate with dispatchers on load location and timingPrioritize loading for on-time-delivery (OTD)Coordinate, assist, and troubleshoot with Coolers on shipment delaysAssist trucking dispatchersRelay updates to Transportation department through concise and constant communicationMonitor e-mails for changes, constantly update internal and external vendors through Google sheet trackerProcess shipped orders using various platformsReport and enter recorders for customers on Recorder platformsProcess and send appropriate export paperwork to customersEnter inbounds in Famous tracking and communicate with sales departmentCheck all orders, input freight, match data from Famous to Google Sheet, ensure all orders have accurate pricingCommunicate with carrier on freight pricingPay Range $19.50 TO $26.00 depending on experience
