Data Engineer (WFH Role)

Position: Senior Open Source Data Engineer (WFH)

Experience: Min 8-14+ Yrs

95% Work From Home, with only 2-days per Month required to work at the office (Hyderabad / Chennai / Noida / Bengaluru).

Shift time: 4pm to 1am (Night allowance will provide)

Role & responsibilities

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Proven experience designing large-scale distributed data platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with open-source data technologies (Kafka, Flink, Hadoop, Iceberg, etc.).
• Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and medallion architecture.
• Deep understanding of:
  • Data governance
  • Data quality
  • Security and access control
• Strong programming/scripting skills (Java/Scala/Python preferred).
• Experience with real-time streaming architectures and CDC (Change Data Capture).
• Ability to work in globally distributed environments.
