Job Overview: Senior Data Engineer supporting Hilton's enterprise data organization, focused on data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Martech ecosystem support. This role is responsible for understanding business requirements, designing scalable data solutions, and partnering across business, product, and analytics teams. This is a hands-on role requiring strong experience with ETL, cloud platforms, and modern data architecture, with a focus on driving alignment across Hilton's data landscape.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5+ years in technology or related field
• 3+ years hands-on experience with:
  • Data engineering (ETL, data quality, maintenance)
  • Talend, AWS Glue, Lambda
  • Cloud data platforms (Redshift, Snowflake, CDW)
• Experience working in cloud or hybrid environments
• Strong collaboration across business, product, and analytics teams

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and support new and existing data systems
• Identify required datasets and align to architecture and solution design
• Navigate Hilton's enterprise data landscape and legacy systems
• Partner with Martech, business, product, and analytics teams
• Monitor implementations and escalate risks, blockers, and status updates
• Align across internal stakeholders and broader data organization
• Deliver data solutions for new business initiatives
• Support internal data teams with clear communication and execution

Technical Environment

Data Engineering / ETL: Talend, AWS Glue, Lambda

Data Platforms: Redshift, Snowflake, CDW

Cloud: AWS (preferred) / hybrid environments

Other: Enterprise data ecosystems, Martech integrations

Nice to Have

• AWS cloud experience (strong plus)
