Senior Data Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Java, and Python, who can drive large-scale data migration initiatives. This role focuses on designing scalable data architectures, building robust pipelines, and enabling business transformation through high-quality data solutions across industries like Healthcare and BFSI.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines on GCP using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
- Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing systems using Java and Python.
- Develop and execute large-scale data migration strategies ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across pipelines and platforms.
- Optimize performance of data workloads and reduce processing costs on cloud environments.
- Support DevOps practices including CI/CD for data engineering workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
- Strong expertise in GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer).
- Hands-on experience in Java and Python programming.
- Proven experience in large-scale data migration projects.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and distributed systems.
- Domain experience in Healthcare or BFSI preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
