Engineer IIThe Engineer II role plans, designs, develops and tests high-quality, high-performance, innovative, and fully functioning products and live services related to Toyota vehicle data. The scope of the projects includes ingestion of data from multiple types of sources, performing transformations on that data, and finally providing the output data to consumers through different kinds of access patterns.
Key responsibilities include:Contribute to full software development life cycleWrite maintainable, extensible, tested code, while complying with coding standardsProduce specifications and determine operational feasibilityContinuously Integrate and deliver software components into a fully functional product in Production environmentsFacilitate end to end integration testing with customersTroubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systemsRequired Skills: Must Have: • Java and Scala (Java is most important) • Spark • SQL (NoSQL is a nice to have) • AWS services – Glue, Athena, lambda, etc.
