Data EngineerOrlando, FL – WFH 2 days, onsite 3 days/weekWe're looking for a data engineer to support our growing business. This role will wear many hats within the data operations space as it supports all corporate functions as well as business operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with business partners, up to and including members of the executive team, to gather requirements.
This role must have the technical skills to take those design documents through development, testing and implementation.What you'll be doing:Analyze and organize data from various sourcesDesign, build and maintain data pipelinesDesign, build and maintain data models and related data lineage documentationConduct data analysis, explore ways to enhance data quality and reliabilityEstablish and maintain best practices for data gathering and sharingTroubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issuesEvaluate business needs and objectivesWork closely with business partners to identify data needs and mechanisms for data acquisitionCollaborate with business leaders and executives on reporting/analytics requirementsWork with internal team to define a data archive and purge strategySkills we're seeking:2+ years of experience with Data Engineering and/or ETL DevelopmentExperience building data pipelines in cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure or SnowflakeExperience automating data movement with programming languages such as PythonExperience with SQL and data modelingNice to have experience:Spark or PySpark experience
