A mid-sized, growing fintech firm is hiring a Data Engineer to join its established data team in NYC.
This role offers hands-on work with a modern data stack, close collaboration with the business, and the opportunity to take ownership of projects supporting lending and financial operations.

What you’ll work on:
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and ELT processes
- Developing and expanding dbt models
- Scheduling and monitoring workflows using Dagster
- Building Snowflake and AWS integrations
- Improving data quality and reconciliation processes
What you’ll need:
- Around two years of data or analytics engineering experience
- Daily, hands-on dbt experience
- Strong Python skills, including Pandas
- Snowflake experience
- Experience with Dagster or Airflow
- AWS experience, including S3, IAM, and CloudFormation
- Experience working with financial data, such as lending, payments, or fintech
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Exposure to AI tools or LLM pipelines is a plus.
$130K–$150K base salary plus bonus. Four days onsite in NYC.
