The position requires more than moving data between systems. The Data Engineer must understand the business meaning of the data and use that context to build accurate, scalable, and maintainable solutions.Responsibilities:* Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise data solutions* Build and enhance data processing workflows that support large and complex datasets* Understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical implementations* Analyze source and target data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency* Investigate data issues, trace discrepancies across systems, and support root-cause analysis* Develop validation and reconciliation processes for business-critical data* Improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of existing data processes* Collaborate with Oracle developers, technical leads, application developers, and business stakeholders* Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and established development standards* Enhance and redesign components within an existing enterprise platform rather than a greenfield environmentRequirements* Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise data solutions* Experience building data processing workflows for large or complex datasets* Strong SQL skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot data across multiple sources* Experience with data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and issue investigation* Ability to understand the business context behind data rather than treating the work as data movement alone* Experience improving data quality, processing performance, reliability, and maintainability* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Clear communication skills and the ability to work across technical and business teamsJob TypeContractCompensation50 - $60
