Job TitleSystems EngineerBasic Requirements14 years experience as a system engineerBachelor's degree in a technical discipline 5 additional years of experience as a system engineer may be substituted for a degreeJob DescriptionThe DCI team is seeking Systems Engineer to outline, develop and implement data engineering solutions.The candidate should have a working knowledge of NiFi, be comfortable working in a Linux environment, interact with data ontologies (schemas), structured data types (XML, CSV, JSON), have database experience (MySQL/NoSQL) and analytic query experience with a platform.Candidate will work with numerous concurrent IC-provided data sets to identify, map and model data transformation routines supporting ingestion into the customer's corporate repositories and be able to document new and existing data flows supporting data routing implementations.A working knowledge of smart data systems and entitlements is highly desired, as well as experience with JAVA and Splunk.Required ExperienceWorking knowledge of smart data systems and entitlementsExperience with JAVA and Splunk is highly desiredExperience with current and evolving agency dataflow and reporting solutionsExperience in developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large scale systemsExperience in leading agile development modelsExperience integrating COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendorsExperience developing and deploying storage within clustered or cloud environmentsExperience planning and integrating secure compliant solutions based on legal, policy, and compliance directivesSalary$220,000 - $230,000 annuallyExcellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents – available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match – immediate vesting.Disclaimer: The salary range provided is an estimate based on current market conditions and may be adjusted based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
