Job TitleThe contractor will support the implementation, configuration, and operation of File Transfer (MFT) platform within a GCP-hosted Data DMZ environment.
Responsibilities include completing Globus Connect Server deployment, configuring storage gateways and data transfer workflows, and onboarding research users while providing Tier 1/2 operational support.
The role will focus on managing large-scale, secure data transfers, maintaining platform health, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with security and governance standards (HIPAA, NIST, Zero-Trust). The contractor will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to establish operational processes, support production readiness, and deliver documentation and knowledge transfer to enable long-term ownership by the Enterprise Interfaces team.
