Technical Lead – Data EngineeringAnalytica is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead – Data Engineering to support the design, development, and delivery of modern data and analytics solutions in a cloud-based environment. This role is best suited for a senior engineer who has grown into a leadership role and enjoys mentoring teams while remaining deeply involved in technical execution. This role follows a hybrid schedule; candidates should be located in the DMV area to support in-person collaboration as needed.The Technical Lead will be a contributor who can lead by example—guiding engineers, coordinating technical delivery, and helping teams solve complex engineering challenges.

Analytica offers competitive compensation with opportunities for bonuses, employer paid health care, training and development funds, and 401k match.Key Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day technical execution for engineering teams delivering data and analytics solutionsServe as a senior hands-on engineer contributing to solution design, development, troubleshooting, and optimizationGuide and mentor engineers through technical leadership, collaboration, and code reviewSupport development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines, integrations, and processing frameworks within Databricks and AWSCollaborate with architects and program leadership to implement technical solutions aligned with project objectivesHelp break down requirements into actionable development tasks and support sprint executionPartner with application engineers, QA/test teams, and business analysts to ensure successful deliveryPromote engineering best practices around performance, maintainability, testing, and operational supportAssist with production support, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement effortsContribute to Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and technical estimationRequired Qualifications:U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain any required clearance or suitability determinationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

Master's degree in a plus.8+ years of experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing solutionsHands-on expertise with Databricks and modern data engineering frameworksExperience working within AWS cloud environmentsStrong proficiency in Python and/or Spark-based data processingFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Agile development practicesStrong troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skillsAbility to lead technical efforts while remaining hands-on in deliveryCertification in one or moreDatabricks Certified Data Engineer Associate and/or Databricks Certified Machine Learning AssociateAWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – ProfessionalExperience working in client-facing or consulting environmentsStrong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholdersFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools
