With minimum supervision:Analyzes testability of requirementsProvides testing estimateDesigns and prepares Test Strategies & Approach, testing metrics and other testing artifacts.Creates test cases based on requirements and conducts reviews with development team/business users.Prioritize and Executes functional tests and regression testsReports defects, raises issues or concernsParticipates in design meetings, risk analysis meetingsProvides leadership and mentoring to junior staff, interns, and business testersCreate and maintain quality assurance standards and processes.Monitor common business specific quality measurement frameworks and track improvement against predefined metrics.Plan and deploy software/DWH testing and project management processes based on the current methodologies of the company.Create and monitor quality assurance-related activities at both the program and project level to ensure appropriately planned and executed.QUALIFICATIONS:Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience/training5+ years experience of database testing in PL/SQL, MS SQL Server, Teradata and Oracle5+ years of professional Corporate Data Warehousing & ETL experience (DataStage/Informatica)8+ years software testing/QA experience8+ years of QA and/or application development experienceGood knowledge of testing methodologies (SDLC, Agile, etc.)Must have solid understanding on Data Quality and data management.Airline knowledge/experienceData analysis tools experience (Quest TOAD suite, Informatica DVO)Testing tools experience (MS Visual Studio Team System, QC, Test Director, others)Solid understanding of relational databasesChange agility, good verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented.Demonstrates initiative, follow-through, sound business judgment
