Data EngineerThe main function of a data engineer is to ensure that the data assets of an organization are supported by an architecture that supports the organization in achieving its strategic goal. A typical data engineer is responsible for setting enterprise standards for databases, data integration, and the means to get to the data. This position working with a team responsible for managing CVA units reporting process to enterprise and providing insights to business for increasing sales.Typical day:Test Airflow, correct errors and make necessary modifications during our migration from Saas.Maintaining and enhancing database in SaasProvide support to business partners that have questions about data in CVA’s in relation to numbers coming out of Saas.Technical skills required:2+ years exp in Saas2+ years exp with SQL2+ years exp in SnowflakeDesired:Project management exp specifically Agile methodologyAirflow expSoft skills required:Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
