Data EngineerChicago, ILCore Responsibilities:Work closely with our clients as part of a development team to evaluate requirements and develop business intelligence and data warehousing solutionsDesign and develop data warehouse database schemasDesign and develop extract, transform, and load (ETL) mappings, procedures, and schedulesCoordinate activities with data source application owners to ensure integration and data integrityCoordinate project workstreams related to ETL and developmentSkills We're Seeking:Minimum 2+ years of hands-on professional development experienceStrong technical experience in ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, IBM DataStage, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc.), database platforms (Oracle Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure)Experience performing complex data migration to and from disparate data systems/platforms as well as to/from the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)Experience with the Microsoft SQL Server platform (2016 or later) is requiredGood knowledge of standard concepts, best practices, and procedures within a data warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) environmentExcellent organizational and communication skills to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneouslyDesire to work across our core industries including but not limited to Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Consumer & Industrial Products, and Healthcare & Life SciencesAbility to work well in a team of 2 – 5 consultants
