Behind that mission is a growing technology and data function that helps our clinical, residential, and administrative teams operate efficiently and make informed decisions.We're looking for an analytics Manager to own how Amego uses data. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with broad ownership: you'll partner with leadership to define what we measure, build the data infrastructure and reporting that make those measurements possible, and manage our relationship with our external BI contractor. You'll also contribute to general IT, and systems work as part of a small, collaborative team.
This is an ideal role for an experienced analytics professional who wants the autonomy to shape a data function from the ground up and the variety of working across multiple systems and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Analytics Strategy & Stakeholder PartnershipPartner with executive leadership, program directors, finance, HR, and clinical leadership to understand their data needs and translate them into reporting and analytics deliverablesDefine and maintain Amego's key operational, clinical, and financial metricsLead recurring reporting cycles (board reports, program performance reviews, compliance reporting) and ad-hoc analysis for leadership decisionsServe as the internal expert on Amego's data — what exists, what it means, and what it can answerBI Contractor ManagementOwn the day-to-day relationship with Amego's external BI contractorTranslate business needs into clear requirements; review deliverables for quality, accuracy, and usabilityCoordinate priorities, timelines, and budget; ensure the contractor's work integrates cleanly with internal systemsEvaluate the BI engagement over time and recommend changes to scope, vendor, or in-house balance as needs evolveHands-On Data WorkBuild and maintain SQL queries, data models, and reports against Amego's operational systems (NetSuite, electronic health records, payroll, SharePoint, and others)Develop dashboards and self-service reporting in Power BIBuild and maintain data pipelines and integrations using Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Python, or similar toolsEnsure data quality, integrity, and timeliness; investigate and resolve data discrepanciesDocument data sources, definitions, transformations, and reporting logicAutomation & Process ImprovementIdentify manual, repetitive processes across departments and build automation solutions to eliminate themBuild integrations between systems to reduce duplicate data entry and reconciliation workSupport compliance and operational reporting workflows (MassHealth renewals, internal audits, regulatory submissions)IT Support & SystemsProvide tier 2 support for escalated issues from staff across Amego's residential, clinical, and administrative locationsAssist with user account management, permissions, and access provisioning across systems (NetSuite, Microsoft 365, SharePoint)Contribute to small IT projects: software rollouts, system upgrades, vendor coordinationHelp maintain internal documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base contentData Governance & SecurityEnsure data practices follow Amego's security policies and HIPAA requirementsImplement and maintain role-based access controls for sensitive dataEstablish and document data governance practices appropriate to a growing organizationSalary Range: $100k-$110k/yearly#eg1QualificationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with NetSuite data and administration, including ODBC connections and saved searchesExperience administering Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Power Platform toolsBackground in healthcare, human services, or another regulated industry; familiarity with HIPAAFamiliarity with MassHealth, Medicaid, or other public payer dataExperience standing up or significantly maturing an analytics functionExperience in a small-team environment where roles span multiple disciplines
