Python & AWS Development PositionPython & AWS development to build, enhance and maintain monitoring capabilitiesTypical DayDevelop new monitoring solutions and automations to accelerate issue detection and correction.Monitor pipeline execution for failures or anomalies, using a variety of tools and methods.Maintain and improve data quality scorecard measurements.Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by the client’s management from time to time.Technical Skills Required(Required)Four years or more of experience in data engineering and/or software development.Three years or more of experience with development, operations, or architecture in a Cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)(Desired)Robust experience with AWS services (S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Sagemaker, IAM)Software development experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, Javascript, C++, Scala, etcKnowledge of data technology products and components for Big Data and Cloud (AWS, Data Lakes, and similar).Soft Skills Required(Required)Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skillsBasic ability to work independently and manage one’s time(Desired)Ability to work collaboratively in a complex, rapidly changing, and culturally diverse environmentAbility to clearly communicate complex technical ideasComfortable working in a dynamic environment where digital is still evolving as a core offeringEducation RequirementsAssociate degree in computer programming or a relevant field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.5-7 years’ experience required.
