Data Collection SupervisorThe Data Collection Supervisor will help manage Tesla's Optimus data collection team and be an expert on our data collection workflows. This role requires an elevated level of flexibility, ability to lead a team, review and manage data collection output. Onsite presence is required at our Lathrop location and other surrounding facilities.ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate data collection schedules and activities across workflows and locationsMonitor equipment health and performance, and be a point of contact between the data collection/engineering/technician teamsReview/Approve operator timecards/expense reports/travel requests and schedule shifts for Data Collection OperatorsMonitor data collection metrics and use them to inform operator performance managementConduct regular data audits to identify and correct errors or discrepanciesRecommend and implement process improvements or new tools to enhance data collection efficiencyRequirementsExperience managing and motivating hourly teams and ability to match project tasks with opportunities for employee developmentStrong problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for quickly learning systemsProven track record executing and meeting sensitive deadlinesExperience managing multiple competing projects with limited resources and highly flexible attitude that adapts to rapid changes in a growing environmentUnderstand when to delegate and allocate responsibilities to manage projects end-to-endStrong communication and presentation skills - can explain complicated topics and ideas in a clear and concise manner
