Overview:
Rack / Cabinet Decommission & Install
- Un-rack and rack network/telecom equipment, including switches, patch panels, shelves, cable managers, etc.
- Take apart and reconfigure racks, cabinets, and related mounting hardware.
- Remove, reroute, and re-dress cabling to maintain clean, serviceable pathways.
- Perform basic hardware handling and staging, including labeling, organizing, and boxing equipment for reuse or disposal.
Fiber & Copper Cabling
- Remove and install fiber trunk cabling and associated components as directed.
- Trace and identify copper and fiber runs using toner/tester and other verification methods.
- Label cables accurately and consistently to match documentation and standards.
