Data Center Technical IntegratorThe position requires a hands-on approach, orchestrating and coordinating large-scale efforts for migrating infrastructure, which includes physical and virtual appliances from existing data centers to two greenfield data center locations.
The role requires problem solving skills and flexibility to dynamic work environments. You will translate business requirements and technical specifications, input of data solutions and supporting the Data Center Team to organize data at the macro and micro level, creating models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business architecture, create diagrams showing key data entities, and create an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision. The candidate will interact closely with internal Infrastructure teams across multiple workstreams while consulting multiple vendors for developing Infrastructure Data Center documentation. The candidate must have experience in resource management, utilizing risk management and working towards the deployment of a greenfield Data Center environment.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAbility to collaborate to solve technical problems across teams.Candidate requires resource and vendor management.Data migration planning and execution.Provide a logical data model with elements and business rules needed for the creation of data quality rules.Building strong partnerships with colleagues at all levels, inside and outside the Data.Collaborating with other data experts across the entire organization.Data Center infrastructure technical experience.Work under the direction of, coordinating adds, moves, and changes within the Data Center environments.Assist with Data Center scheduled workloads, inspections and documentation associated.Candidate requires the ability to present Data Center update documentation, plans and pitfalls to a leadership environment, if applicable.Resource planning and plan management with respect to Data Center environments.Position Requirements Functional/Technical SkillsBachelors in Computer Science, or Information Systems and or similar experiences.MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio).Data Center and infrastructure operational concepts and principles.Technical resource management.Technical and Business writing skills.Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex concepts.Experience8-11 years of experience in Data Center Integrator environments.Skills delivering large complex projects, including project scope, and schedule.Strong communication skills, both written and oral.Conception to completion of Data Center projects.Manage resources associated with multi-million-dollar contracts.Knowledge of AGILE ways of working and Total Quality Management practices.Good understanding of data lifecycle and architecture best practices.Ability to work with modern workplace technology (such as MS Teams) from home and in the office.Excellent understanding of Data Protection Legislation.Leadership skills.Some experience with cloud data technology.
