Requirements
- We need at least 5 years of construction or project management experience.
- We need at least 5 years managing projects in data centers or another comparable critical infrastructure environment within an operational setting.
- We need at least 5 years of experience in on-site construction trades and vendor management across mechanical, electrical, or general disciplines.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of technical experience in power distribution and data center mechanical cooling systems.
- Preferred: a BA/BS in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a similar technical field.
- Preferred: strong ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, balance trade-offs, incorporate feedback, and assess new ideas with internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferred: proven success delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred: ability to work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and complete projects and tasks.
Responsibilities
- We oversee project direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion for assigned initiatives.
- We manage construction activities within operational data center spaces.
- We lead critical infrastructure improvement projects focused on optimizing space, power, and cooling utilization.
- We provide technical oversight and review across electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines.
- We identify opportunities for improvement and act on data shared by other teams and organizations.
- We design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges.
- We collaborate within multidisciplinary teams as well as work independently when needed.
- We manage projects involving electrical systems, mechanical systems, fire detection, and building automation systems.
- We ensure projects align with our strategy, commitments, and goals.
