Data Center Project ManagerContract Length: 12 months with potential extension(s)Location: Dallas, TX – Local candidates onlyWork Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsiteThe Data Center Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering data center–related projects, including new builds, expansions, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning efforts. This role coordinates cross-functional teams across facilities, network, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards, and offers a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, highly energetic, motivated, and collaborative team.Qualifications:5+ years of project management experience in data center or infrastructure environmentsStrong understanding of data center infrastructure including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and networkingProven experience managing complex, multi-vendor projectsPrior experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) implementationsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills with the ability to work independentlyExperience using JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and VisioAbility to align technical solutions with business requirementsExcellent communication, collaboration, and multitasking skillsWillingness to travel to multiple facilities as neededResponsibilities:Lead end-to-end delivery of data center projects, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategiesDevelop and manage project schedules across design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning phasesCreate and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reportingServe as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including facilities, infrastructure, and vendorsEnsure safety, compliance, and regulatory standards are maintained throughout project deliverySupport capacity planning and long-term data center strategy initiativesTravel to data center locations as required to support project needsGenius Road, LLC is proud to be a Certified Women's Business Enterprise, an Equal Opportunity Employer, and values diversity.
