Seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Lead to oversee day-to-day physical data center operations, infrastructure deployments, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead rack and stack activities, hardware installations, relocations, and decommissioning.
- Manage structured cabling, labeling, rack layouts, and equipment documentation.
- Troubleshoot server, storage, network, power, and environmental issues.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and OEMs for issue resolution.
- Support hardware upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and expansion projects.
- Monitor data center power, cooling, environmental conditions, and physical security.
- Maintain asset inventories, procedures, and operational documentation.
- Provide on-site leadership and technical guidance to data center support teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of data center operations/infrastructure experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with rack and stack, cabling, and hardware deployment.
- Knowledge of server, storage, networking, and power infrastructure.
- Experience in enterprise data center environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a mission-critical environment.
Preferred
- Enterprise or hyperscale data center experience.
- ITIL/change management knowledge.
- Familiarity with DCIM and asset management tools.
- Experience with data center migration or modernization projects.
