Job Description

Description:

Seeking a detail-oriented consultant that brings hands-on experience in the planning, design, and implementation of Cisco data center networking and security infrastructure. A strong Cisco Nexus and Cisco ASA and/or Firepower background will be required

Duties

  • Provide advanced technical leadership for complex project work, including functional subsystem upgrades for mission critical data center network and firewall devices and services
  • Define engineering requirements, architecture and network level design and integration for data interconnectivity needs of business-critical applications and functions
  • Analyze, setup, monitor, and audit required measures to ensure data network performance and security
  • Validate that customer network configurations are functioning per designs by validating log flows, event threshold settings, and alarm notification settings
  • Document design and implementation for operational consumption

Qualifications

Technical Requirements

  1. Advanced implementation experience within theEnterprise Networking and Data Center Cisco portfolio
  2. 8+ years' experience withenterprise network and datacenter environments
  3. 5+ years' experience working directly with internal or external clients
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  5. Self-starter with strong leadership traits, with ability to manage customer expectations
