Key Job Responsibilities
- Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
- Manage performance of a diverse team of data center operation professionals across different locations
- Develop career paths for employees and update internal tools
- Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels
- Ensure effective and efficient management of day‑to‑day data center operations, including queue management, 24/7 shift arrangement and hardware logistics
- Act as subject matter expert across all aspects of data center operations
- Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are measured and met
- Inspire and guide improvements in team process, technology innovation, and automation
- Manage large‑scale events (outages) and act as call leader
- Improve workflows and throughput for data center operations
- Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs
- Maintain the on‑call schedule, coordinating absences and vacations
- Maintain passion for service quality and continuously improve customer experience

Lead the team to ensure overall availability and reliability, meet or exceed defined service levels, manage shifts, and continuously drive operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of data center, network engineering, or systems engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience managing people in a technical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of computer hardware experience, including troubleshooting and repair
- Experience in technical writing in a relevant field
- Certifications in a relevant field (e.g., CCENT, Network+, CCNA)
- Behavioral interviewing and hiring experience
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $70,700.00 – $123,600.00 annually. Package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
