Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Data Center Facilities Operators to support the operations, maintenance, and reliability of hyperscale data-center infrastructure supporting high-density AI workloads.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical facilities operations, electrical and mechanical infrastructure, power distribution, cooling systems, and facility resiliency within live data-center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily operations, maintenance, and reliability of critical infrastructure within hyperscale data-center facilities.
• Monitor and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, air-handling units, and power-distribution equipment.
• Ensure reliable power and cooling infrastructure supporting high-density AI and GPU server environments.
• Serve as an onsite technical resource for critical facilities infrastructure, including data halls and white-space environments.
• Identify and manage facility capacity limitations, infrastructure risks, and operational constraints.
• Support preventive maintenance, infrastructure audits, equipment inspections, and operational-readiness assessments.
• Respond to critical infrastructure incidents, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with engineering teams and technical SMEs.
• Collaborate with colocation providers, contractors, vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support change-management activities involving high-risk maintenance and critical infrastructure modifications.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in data-center operations, critical facilities, or mission-critical infrastructure environments .
• Hands-on experience supporting electrical and mechanical infrastructure in active data centers.
• Strong understanding of data-center power distribution, electrical redundancy, and critical power systems.
• Experience with cooling infrastructure, including chillers, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps, and air-handling systems.
• Knowledge of redundancy configurations, including N+1, N+2, and 2N , and concurrent maintainability.
• Understanding of data-center capacity planning, power and cooling calculations, and infrastructure design principles.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE and TIA-942 data-center standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in hyperscale data centers or major colocation environments such as Equinix, Switch, CyrusOne , or similar mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with liquid-cooling systems, direct-to-chip cooling, or other high-density cooling architectures .
• Exposure to AI/GPU infrastructure, including NVIDIA H100, B200, or GB200 server environments.
• Experience supporting data-hall buildouts, power planning, cooling planning, and infrastructure expansion. xhqgsiq
