Data Business Analyst With Capital Markets/DerivativesNew York City, NY Hybrid Fulltime.The Derivative Data Integration Team is responsible for integrating trade data from different trading systems into the enterprise database across different asset classes IRD, FXD, CRD, EQD, and Commodities. This role will be involved as a business analyst in the following tasks:Source trade data from various trading platforms, transform to the business domain model, and load into the enterprise database.Load collateral VM and IM from the collateral management platform to the enterprise database.Load market data from various sources into the enterprise database.Load static and reference data into the enterprise database.Create reports for operational and regulatory reporting functions.Responsibilities:Business requirement writing and refinementDesign expected solutions for the development team to implementCollaborate with experienced developers to understand system requirements and functionalitiesExperience leading the design and development of new components for the next generation of OTC derivatives solutionsCo-ordination of quality assurance and testing, including issue tracking and resolutionClose stakeholder partnership on business priorities, problem statement definition, and project measures of successBusiness analysis of operational processes including flow mapping, root cause analysis, & stakeholder interviewsContribute to driving an innovative and continuous improvement culture within the integration teamTriage support issues for the product team identifying them as either bugs or systems enhancementsSkills required:Strong functional knowledge and relevant working experience in Derivatives across different asset classes IRD, FXD, CRD, EQD, and Commodities.Technology/Engineering background (either educationally or experience) and detailed knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologiesDemonstrable knowledge of OTC Derivatives trade lifecycleStrong SQL and Excel skillsKnowing Murex trading platform is a plusExcellent communication skills, both written and spokenAbility to articulate complex problems and potential resolutions/solutionsDesign, documentation, and solution execution experience with the ability to address identified business problems and help execute on with product managers for launches of new products.Data analysis skills and ability to review technical specifications and large complex datasets (Structured Query Language (SQL), fpML)Regards,Ashutosh Pasbola Assistant Manager | Syntricate Technologies Inc.
