Data Warehouse ArchitectDesign, enhance and maintain logical and physical data warehouse models. Will work with the business and the technical team to build test best in class data warehouse.Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key AccountabilitiesUnderstand, design and create physical and logical data models to meet business needs. Develop and document overall data sourcing, data transformation and semantic layer designs. Drive architectural alignment across multiple delivery partners for key and complex initiatives. Evangelize the use of data quality metrics and best practices from ingest to delivery. Identify and profile data quality and data curation methods. Consult and advise technical analysts during development process. Guide test plan creation. Ability to multitask on multiple projects in various phases. Participate in technical forums, change approval board and get all desired approvals before code migrations to production. Candidate should possess excellent problem solving abilities and data analysis. Motivated and self-driven with focus customer satisfaction. Able to work on multiple projects with different stakeholders. Identify and recommend database performance solutions and standards. Participates in peer reviews.Nature and ScopeDemonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data. Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process. May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel. Work environment located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.Education and ExperienceTypically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally, 5-10 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA.
Experience with large-scale data integration and reporting. Prefer Oracle DBA experience 4 years. Understanding of data requirements in complex environments. Certification is required in some areas.Required SkillsMust have experience as a Data Architect with Oracle databases.
Experienced with data modeling (any tool) and some DBA work. Doing performance tuning would be huge. Getting information from Oracle EBS, secondary is flat files.
