We are seeking a senior IT Consultant to support its enterprise Big Data/Data Modernization initiative . The consultant will work on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Databricks and Microsoft Azure data platforms , data lakes, pipelines, integrations, and analytics solutions.
Required Skills
- 16+ years planning, coordinating, and monitoring IT projects.
- 16+ years leading projects and ensuring compliance with standards/procedures.
- 5+ years with Databricks, Big Data, Data Lakes, and modern data architecture .
- 5+ years with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture, networking, security, and storage.
- 5+ years operating/managing Databricks data platforms, including pipelines, runtime, auditing, cost and user management.
- 5+ years deploying Azure data tools and storage solutions.
- 5+ years with SQL/NoSQL and structured/unstructured data.
- 5+ years designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL/ELT.
- 5+ years with data analytics/visualization tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, ArcGIS/Esri, Kibana, or Oracle .
- 3+ years with REST/SOAP APIs and Web Services .
- 3+ years with real-time streaming and complex event processing.
- 3+ years using Python, Java, or R for ETL/data processing/analytics.
- 3+ years managing data science tools such as Databricks Notebooks and R .
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills
- 2+ years deploying applications, gateways, agents, or models on Databricks.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and StreamSets .
- Experience integrating IoT/Smart City, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Open Data, or Data Science solutions.
- Experience with API Gateways, Oracle, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Esri/ArcGIS, and Kibana .
