Senior Azure Data ArchitectWe are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Data Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise data solutions on the Client Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure data services, data architecture, distributed data processing, and modern analytics platforms. This is a 100% onsite position, and only local candidates will be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures on Client Azure.Develop enterprise data models, logical and physical schemas, and metadata management strategies.Build and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and modern analytics platforms using Azure services.Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.Develop data transformation, automation, and orchestration solutions using Python and SQL.Utilize Apache Spark and Databricks for large-scale distributed data processing and analytics.Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and application teams to define data architecture standards.Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and governance artifacts.Ensure data quality, security, scalability, and performance across enterprise data platforms.Establish best practices for cloud data architecture, data integration, and governance.Support migration of on-premises data platforms to Azure cloud environments.Troubleshoot complex data platform issues and optimize system performance.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science (mandatory).8–10 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Analytics platforms.Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience designing cloud-native data architectures on Client Azure.Strong expertise in: Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks.Strong knowledge of enterprise data architecture, dimensional modeling, schema design, and metadata management.Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks.Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering and automation.Experience creating architecture documentation, system diagrams, and technical design artifacts.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migration projects.Client Azure Data certifications are a plus.Required Technical SkillsClient AzureAzure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)Azure Data Factory (ADF)Azure Synapse AnalyticsAzure DatabricksApache SparkPythonSQLData ArchitectureData ModelingMetadata ManagementETL/ELT PipelinesEnterprise AnalyticsCloud Data ArchitectureCompany Benefits & CultureInclusive and diverse work environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentComprehensive health and wellness benefitsAppreciate your quick response and please feel free to reach me out for any query you may have.
