Data ArchitectRandstad is partnering with a retail company that is looking for a contract remote Data Architect. They are looking for someone with the technical skills for delivering complete data analytics solutions. The responsibilities include, but not limited, to ETL design, Data Modeling, Query design, Performance Optimization and Deployment Management.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with Erwin data modeling, experience developing ETL solutions using Talend, and experience with cloud database platforms.Responsibilities:Experience understanding current state and desired future architecture state, and to determine incremental roadmapAbility to extend enterprise architecture principles, standards, strategies, policies into product area specific architectureExperience with source to target mappings and determining needed logicAbility to extend enterprise architecture principles, standards, strategies, policies into product area specific architectureCapable of analyzing legacy solutions for migration to newer technologiesProvides technical direction for the design of complex and large scale data analytics solutions to effectively meet business needs.Contributes to the solution design of projects that address business needs, including the analysis of multiple solution optionsPartners with the Enterprise Architecture team on the creation of the conceptual architecture that addresses the high level business requirementsParticipates in Solution Architecture review for applicable projectsAuthors complex level technical designs that define how the functional requirements will be technically enabledProvides guidance to an extended project team related to the solution architecture and technical design.
