Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required).
• Experience with Large and complex database management systems (7+ years).
• Experience in Data architecting, data mining, large-scale data modeling, and business requirements gathering/analysis.
• Experience Implementing enterprise data management processes, procedures, and decision support.
• Experience with Relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Experience with Metadata management and associated processes.
• Experience with Enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools, data mapping tools, and data profiling tools.
• Experience with Repository creation and data information system life cycle methodologies.
• Experience with Business requirements analysis, entity relationship planning, database design, and reporting structures.
• Experience with Data and metadata migration management.
• Experience with Database platforms, including Microsoft Azure SQL Database, Snowflake, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle Database.
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP, XML, UDDI, WSDL).
• Experience with Object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, J2EE, EJB, .NET, WebSphere).
• Experience with Data processing flowcharting techniques.
• Experience with Technical writing and documentation.
• Experience with Document version control and collaborative document management.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) - Pipelines, Mapping Data Flows, Integration Runtimes (Self-Hosted/Azure), CI/CD parameterization, REST API triggers.
• Experience with Snowflake - Multi-cluster virtual warehouses, zero-copy cloning, Snowpipe, Time Travel, RBAC, cost optimization, and micro-partitioning.
• Experience with T-SQL / Azure SQL / Synapse - Complex indexing, execution plan tuning, partitioning, stored procedures, CTEs, dynamic SQL, and window functions.
• Experience with Snowflake (Snowpark & Streams) - Snowpark (Python/Scala) for scalable data engineering and ML; Streams for CDC; Tasks for orchestration; Time Travel & RBAC for governance; credit-aware cost optimization with multi-cluster virtual warehouses.
• Experience with ER/Studio, Erwin, or SQLDBM - Conceptual, Logical, and Physical data modeling; Kimball Dimensional Modeling; Data Vault 2.0 methodology.
• Experience with Terraform / Azure DevOps - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Azure resources, YAML build/release pipelines, Git workflow management.
• Experience with Azure Key Vault & Entra ID - Private Endpoints, Managed Identities, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), column/row-level encryption.
• Experience with Managed Identity, Key Vault, and RBAC - Securing data at rest and in transit while maintaining automated lineage via Purview.

• Experience with Florida State Agency IT Projects.
• Experience with FLAIR (Florida Accounting Information Resource) data transfers and transformation for internal accounting systems.
• Experience with PALM (Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management) data transfers and transformation for internal accounting systems.

• Experience with Power BI platform services - DAX, Star Schema modeling, Composite Models, DirectQuery over Snowflake/Synapse, Row-Level Security (RLS), Service Admin.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) - Delta Lake format, POSIX access control lists, Lifecycle Management policies, hierarchical namespaces, and zone partitioning.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview - Automated lineage tracking, data classification rules, business glossary mapping, and access governance policies.
• Experience with Semantic Layering (Star/Snowflake schemas) - Designing enterprise dimensional models optimized for high-performance Power BI DirectQuery and Import models.
• Experience with Storage & Warehouse Optimization - Structuring ADLS Gen2 landing, bronze, silver, and gold zones; configuring Snowflake warehouses for optimal performance and credit control.
• Experience with End-to-End Pipeline Design - Architecting resilient ingestion patterns using ADF for batch loads and Event Hubs for real-time; landing to Snowflake via Snowpipe and Streams, orchestration with Snowflake Tasks and monitoring via query history.

• Ensure compliance and security across all data-related activities.
• Support application rollouts and select appropriate tools for data management.
• Manage data quality and lead data management practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive effective data solutions.
• Conduct business analysis, data acquisition, and access analysis and design.
• Optimize Database Management Systems, designing and implementing recovery and load strategies.
