Data Architect

Akkodis is seeking a – “Data Architect” for a Contract position with a client located in Mclean/Richmond, VA.

Pay Range: $75 - $85/hr. (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.).

Job Description:

• Ideal candidate with about 5 years of experience
• At least 4 years of professional data analysis work experience
• At least 4 years of programming experience
• At least 1 year of experience in people management

Technical Skills needed:

• At least 5 years of experience with Python, SQL, or Spark, Databricks
• Python skills related to google slide, google sheet and google doc -- to create google slide with charts and data tables, google sheet and google doc by Python
• At least 1 year of experience in Tableau or AWS QuickSight
• Experience with system integration, data validation, quality checks.
• Proficient utilizing and developing within AWS service
• Conducting analysis to evaluate processes and tests. Identify gaps and come up with plan to close gaps
• Have experience managing projects: set up meetings, create agenda, take notes, follow up, report status)
• Communication up to Sr Director level frequently

Soft Skills needed:

• Project management experience - experience with creating project timeline, defining milestones and deliverables.
• Presentation and communication skills - clear, concise, logical;
• Customer facing experience - address all stakeholders needs and provide real time project status update
• Quicker learner and team player
