Data Architect (Jr, Mid, & Sr level roles available) Arlington, VA

Responsibilities

• Architect data pipelines and AI/ML solutions.
• Experience with Python and SQL for modeling, integration, governance and security.
• Experience with cloud and platform design including databases, data lakes, or hybrid cloud platforms.
• Collaboration with Data Mangers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to align architectural goals.
• Reduce complexity in ETL and pipeline automation.
• Understanding security data, compliance, and governance frameworks.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance (required).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in data architecture/data engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud integration such as Azure, AWS and other scalable warehouse and lakehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and GitHub/GitLab version control.
• Position will be hybrid, onsite in Arlington/Washington DC depending on meetings.
