Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on QuickBase expert to support Clinical Vendor Governance in building a new, user-friendly QuickBase vendor lifecycle management platform . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on QuickBase development/configuration experience, along with Power BI reporting and data remediation skills.

The solution will serve as an end-to-end system of record for the clinical vendor lifecycle, covering vendor intake, governance, contracting, performance tracking, workflow, reporting, and renewals .

The resource will also support the cleanup and migration of information for approximately 800 vendors from the existing QuickBase environment into the newly designed solution.

Key Responsibilities

QuickBase Design, Development & Administration

  • Design and build a new QuickBase application supporting the complete clinical vendor lifecycle.

  • Configure tables, relationships, forms, fields, roles, permissions, reports, views, and dashboards .

  • Build the Vendor Profile as the central record for vendor lifecycle management.

  • Develop vendor taxonomy, categorization, tagging, and standardized data structures.

  • Create workflows, automations, notifications, and status triggers.

  • Connect and integrate with other QuickBase applications where required.

  • Explore automation of Microsoft Forms/RFI information into QuickBase .

  • Develop administrative documentation, SOPs, and QuickBase runbooks.

Power BI & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using QuickBase and related data sources.

  • Build reporting for vendor pipeline, lifecycle stages, contracting status, governance readiness, and preferred vendor tracking.

  • Create data models, DAX measures, visualizations, and scheduled refreshes.

  • Improve existing reporting and reduce dependency on manually maintained reports.

  • Use Power BI when QuickBase reporting capabilities are insufficient.

  • Ensure reporting definitions and metrics are consistent across stakeholders.

Data Migration & Remediation

  • Review and assess existing vendor data for approximately 800 vendors .

  • Identify and resolve duplicate records, incomplete information, inconsistent naming, and data-quality issues.

  • Clean, standardize, validate, and prepare data for migration.

  • Support migration from the existing QuickBase environment to the rebuilt application.

  • Perform pre- and post-migration validation and reconciliation.

  • Reconcile vendor information across multiple business inventories and sources.

  • Establish ongoing data quality, audit, and maintenance processes.

Documentation & User Support

  • Create QuickBase user guides, reference materials, and process documentation.

  • Maintain data dictionaries, taxonomy definitions, and reporting logic documentation.

  • Provide troubleshooting and day-to-day support to business users.

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Provide regular status updates and communicate issues or blockers proactively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, application configuration, or a related field.

  • Strong hands-on QuickBase experience is mandatory.

  • Experience designing and configuring:

  • QuickBase tables and relationships

  • Forms and fields

  • Roles and permissions

  • Reports and dashboards

  • Automations and workflows

  • Hands-on Power BI experience.

  • Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling, visualization, and scheduled refreshes .

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, large datasets, and data validation.

  • Strong experience with data cleansing, de-duplication, standardization, and migration preparation .

  • Ability to translate business requirements into QuickBase solutions and reporting designs.

  • Strong attention to detail and data-quality discipline.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, managed care, health plans, or clinical operations .

  • Experience with vendor management, procurement, contracting, or governance .

  • Experience building executive-level or governance reporting.

  • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, and Power Automate .

  • Experience rebuilding or migrating an existing system of record.

  • Experience integrating multiple QuickBase applications.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on QuickBase developer/configuration specialist who can independently build and improve a vendor lifecycle management application, clean and migrate vendor data, and create Power BI reporting. QuickBase is the primary requirement; Power BI and data remediation are important secondary skills.
