A strong understanding of database methodology, data analysis, and reporting technologies are required.Duties & ResponsibilitiesData Analysts have at least 6+ years of experience in Pharma Commercial Data, Sales, and Claims data knowledgeEffective communication & Stakeholder managementExcel & basic SQL knowledgeMust have experience in data visualizationMust have experience in data IQ.Have good knowledge of Data Analyzing Tools- Tableau, Power BIMap data source attributes to target system attributesResearch data requests to determine availability, sourcing, and fulfillment optionsPerform root cause analysis on data quality issuesMonitor the state of data quality within their scope of responsibilityMaintain data to meet company standardsData includes images, technical specifications, and other data elementsCommunicate with providers and manufacturers to ensure complete product data is suppliedProvide customer service support for both external and internal customersRequirements & SkillsBachelors degree or equivalent certifications/experience requiredAdvanced knowledge of structured data, such as entities, classes, hierarchies, relationships, and metadataKnowledge of database management system (DBMS) including tables, joins, and SQL queryingAbility to combine data from multiple sources when needed for analysisFamiliarity with and ability to document the use cases, business purposes, and quality of the dataFamiliar with reporting technology and method of reporting different type of dataLocation - South San Francisco, (CA) Hybrid
