Data AnalystDuration: 6+ MonthsRole: Data AnalystLocation: Hybrid (Mclean Va)Job Description:Your Impact:RPL/NPL data validation & quality control with minimal supervision.Manage all incoming data files from internal and external.Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data.Develop/Maintain internal databases and conduct routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity.Design, prototype, develop, test, and document existing/new ETLs, and related components; make recommendations for related functions that result in a more cost-effective product delivery.Execution of regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis.Analysis of data to provide actionable insights for the business.Assisting business areas with their information needs.Qualifications:At least two years of related data management/data analysis experience.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometric or other quantitative disciplines.Strong skills in SQL & Python.Exceptional quantitative and data analytics skills.Experience in SAS & Unix & ETL tool & Autosys is a plus.Keys to Success in this Role:Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent communication skills, great teammate and understanding of mortgage servicing.Strong problem-solving skills, Self-starter that takes initiative to fill in gaps where needed.
