Senior Data AnalystCity National Bank ("CNB") is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to strengthen our data governance and data analytics capabilities. In this technical leadership role, you will design and develop robust data solutions using Python, SQL, and Tableau to support regulatory compliance with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC") and the Federal Reserve Board ("FRB") requirements. The Operational Analytics, Metrics, and Reporting team's goal is to accelerate data quality measurement, anomaly detection, and remediation cycles through advanced development practices. You will be a Subject Matter Expert who drives continuous improvements through sophisticated data engineering and visualization solutions.What will you do?Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake and other data warehousesBuild Python applications and scripts for automated data collection, validation, and quality checks at scaleDesign and implement interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholdersEngineer data pipelines and ETL processes that improve reporting timeliness and accuracyLead data quality improvement initiatives using Python-based testing and validation frameworksArchitect scalable data solutions aligned with governance frameworks and regulatory standardsDocument technical requirements, validate solutions, and establish data controls and validation checksCollaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate business requirements into robust code and processesMentor development teams and foster best practices in analytics development and continuous improvementSkills and knowledgeExpert-level SQL development and database designAdvanced Python proficiency (pandas, NumPy, data processing libraries)Advanced Tableau skills (calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions)Strong experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and version control systems (Git)Working knowledge of bank processes, controls, and regulatory requirementsAbility to understand business context and translate it into technical solutionsExperience building automated data transformation workflows and metadata managementExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teamsExperience in formal risk controls environments with scheduled deliverablesPreferred: regulatory reporting experience and Alteryx knowledgeMinimum 5 years of experience with SQL and advanced query optimizationMinimum 5 years of professional Python development experienceMinimum 5 years of experience with Tableau (dashboard design, reporting, visualization)Minimum 3 years of experience in banking/operationsProficiency with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platformsRequired qualifications*Bachelor's Degree or equivalentMinimum 5 year's experience in analytics and reporting, using data to derive business insightsMinimum 5 year's relevant experience in financial services.What's in it for you?CompensationStarting base salary: $101,231 - $172,355 per year.
