Overview
We are seeking a highly self-directed Data Analyst to independently explore complex datasets, establish analytical baselines, and quantify the impact of process and tooling changes across Outpost operations. This role requires strong analytical intuition, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to translate loosely defined questions into structured analysis.
This is a contract role open to candidates located in LATAM only. Enterprise experience is strongly preferred when available.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently explore and assess datasets to understand structure, quality, and limitations
- Identify trends, correlations, anomalies, and changes over time without step-by-step guidance
- Define baselines and measurement approaches to quantify business value and operational impact
- Analyze before-and-after effects of process, policy, and tooling changes
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries in Snowflake
- Translate ambiguous or loosely defined questions into structured analytical outputs
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Strong analytical intuition — able to decide what to analyze, not just how (hard requirement)
- Experience learning new data domains independently
- Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces
- Proficiency writing SQL in Snowflake (hard requirement)
- Ability to connect analytical findings to real business outcomes
