The experimentation team is looking for Data Engineer/Product Analyst to support data scientists in the team to help scale our operations.
The data engineer will generate reports, analyses and perform data mining tasks using programming languages such as SQL, R or Python, visualization, and spreadsheets.Key Qualifications:Fluency in SQL or Scala and Python or RStrong problem solving skillsFamiliarity with web analyticsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsKnowledge of A/B testing, Data Science techniques and Statistics is a plus.Skills Requirements:SQL & Analytical - A lot of candidates aren’t able to answer SQL questionsExceptional - SQL and AnalyticsSQL - this person needs to translate business and product requirements into SQL codeData preparation for analysis, not building pipelines (this could be helpful though)Analytics - the analytical skills to understand the use cases. Some people have only worked on a couple of tasks, need this to be their primary role previouslyExperience working in an analytics organization. Working within an ecommerce company would be familiar to this web analytics background (Ex: eBay, Meta, Twitter).
