Mi-Case is hiring a Data Analyst for a hybrid role in Desert Ridge, AZ . This position supports data migration by turning legacy data realities and target platform needs into clear, precise mapping and transformation specifications. Compensation: $110,000 to $120,000 per year (Full-time, Exempt)
What you'll do
* Collaborate with Application Developers , Legacy System SMEs , and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze data migration requirements.
* Analyze and map legacy data structures to target platforms , ensuring data mapping specifications and transformation rules are accurate.
* Document the steps for data transformation, cleansing, and validation to help maintain high standards for data quality and integrity .
* Track migration requirements, mapping rules, and progress using tools such as DevOps , while keeping stakeholders updated.
* Act as the main point of contact for client data migration questions, providing clear and consistent communication to manage expectations and keep work aligned.
* Log migration errors and records not transferred, then investigate to address issues for future migration runs.
* Provide ongoing support to Project Managers, SMEs, developers, data engineers, and quality analysts by communicating progress and troubleshooting issues as they come up.
What you bring
* 7 years of experience (minimum) in data analysis, with exposure to data migration work.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.
* Experience with data analysis , including mapping and transformation processes.
* Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and validation.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to data quality .
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with data migration tools and methodologies (preferred).
