Data AnalystSummary: The main function of a Data Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.Job Responsibilities:Works with key stakeholders (mostly within HR, Finance and IT) to understand requirements and translate these to data/reporting outcomesTest programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modificationsModify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changesWrite and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptionsResponsible for ongoing production of multiple data dashboardsSupports one or more highly complex business processesWorks on multiple projects as a project team memberServes as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needsQualifications:Basic knowledge of programming languages to comprehend reading code and basic functionsAbility to create business solutions that increase competitive advantageAbility to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions (must have a broad experience of using analytical concepts and statistical techniques (including hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing statistically defensible conclusions).Project management skills to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlinesAbility to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex detailsAbility to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutionsA high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge levelAbility to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutionsEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.MBA or other related advanced degree preferred2-4 years experience required
