Data Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Data Migration Specialist to support a major SAP S/4HANA data initiative focused on data quality, migration readiness, and downstream data delivery. In this role, you’ll partner with business and technical stakeholders to analyze, profile, cleanse, and organize data that supports both migration workstreams and enterprise data consumers.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on data analysis, profiling, and sourcing to support complex migration and information architecture efforts.
• Coordinate and help drive data quality activities within the migration workstream, including cleansing data at the source to prepare for SAP S/4HANA.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and data consumers to gather requirements, validate data, and resolve data issues.
• Support the organization and structuring of data assets for downstream use and consumption.
• Run assigned data project workstreams and help ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with the Data Lead to support current and future data needs across the program.

Skills

• At least 6 years of related experience in data analysis, data profiling, or data sourcing.
• Hands-on experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and finance data domains.
• Experience working with legacy SAP ECC environments, including data extraction and cleansing.
• Working knowledge of Alteryx and Databricks for data analysis.
• Basic understanding of information architecture concepts, including data domains, system interfaces, and Azure Data Lake medallion architecture.
• Experience supporting data project workstreams and working directly with business and data stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in using AI tools and concepts to improve data management practices.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Deeper functional and technical experience with SAP S/4HANA finance data.
• Additional experience working on legacy SAP ECC data cleansing initiatives.
• Familiarity with modern data architecture and enterprise data delivery models.
• Experience bridging the gap between technology teams and business users in a data-focused environment.
