This role is designed for a self-starter, ownership-driven professional who wants to move beyond reporting to influence decisions, improve processes, and unlock business value. At HEW, you will have the opportunity to shape scalable analytics solutions, elevate data maturity, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the business.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Partner with functions to understand their processes to determine optimal DA solutionsOwn end-to-end analytics project delivery, managing requirements, deployment, and competing stakeholder prioritiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable Power BI reports, Fabric solutions, and semantic models aligned to best practicesTranslate business needs into structured, reusable analytics solutions and standardized data logic with documentationIdentify gaps in reporting, data models, and processes, and implement scalable improvementsChallenge existing solutions and drive efficiency through automation, optimization, and AI-driven approachesDrive solution adoption through trusted advisory, training, and documentationEnsure adherence to data governance policies, modeling standards, and best practices while enabling future AI capabilitiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline2–5 years of experience in analytics, data, or a related fieldProven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects in a matrixed, project-based environmentStrong ownership mindset—takes initiative, follows through, and delivers results with minimal oversightDemonstrated ability to identify opportunities and proactively solve business problemsAbility to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of analytics solutionsBusiness and Technical Skill (required):Problem-solving and critical thinkingClear written and verbal communication (ability to explain technical concepts simply)Strong organization, planning, and attention to detailExperience with process improvement, automation, and documentationAbility to operate effectively in ambiguity and create structurePower BI (or similar visualization tool); SQL, DAX, and scripting (Python preferred)Data modeling (star schema, relationships, performance optimization) and ETL/data transformationExperience working with financial, operational, or transactional data; familiarity with applying AI in analytics (prompting, APIs, automation)Technical Skill (preferred):Microsoft Fabric platform; experience with project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)Experience working in governed data environments with centralized modelsHuber Engineered Woods is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, protected veteran status, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability, national origin, genetic information, or any other basis covered by appropriate law.
