Data Analyst

Altair Data Resources is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Operations group. In this role, you will translate client data selection requirements into the output files that our clients use for audience targeting. You will join many types of complex data, apply logical rules, and confirm that every result makes sense before it is delivered.

What you will do

• Translate client data selection requirements into accurate output files used for audience targeting
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL workflows that combine data from multiple sources
• Join complex data sets of many types and apply logical rules to produce accurate selections
• Partner with our account management team to confirm that requirements are logical based on the selection criteria
• Perform quality control by cleaning, validating, and reconciling data before delivery
• Automate recurring work with Python, SQL, and company-approved AI tools

What you bring

• At least two years of professional experience in data analysis, data processing, ETL development, or a related role
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and queries across multiple tables
• Practical Python experience for data cleaning, transformation, and automation
• A quality-control mindset and a deep understanding of logical process and data use cases
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with business teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred

• Experience building ETL workflows in Alteryx (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and pandas
