Data AnalystThe Defined Benefit organization provides companies with the expertise and convenience of a single provider to administer their DB plans which promises to pay specified pension payment, lump-sum or combination thereof on benefits to participants at retirement that is predetermined by a formula based on the employee's earnings history, tenure of service and age, rather than depending directly on individual investment returns. For administering these DB plans, our team plays a key role in converting data from the prior record keeper to our Company's systems. As part of these implementations, we get along with Clients, Prior record keepers and internal business/operations partners.The Expertise You Have:Proven ability in a data analysis role (minimum 3-5 years experience)Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a solid grasp of the organizational structure supporting implementation and ongoing projectsData Exchange knowledge and analysis skills to lead, execute, or assist on all assigned work throughout the project; examples of projects: implementation of a new client or Corporate ActionsDefined Benefits knowledge requiredThe Skills You Bring:Excellent analysis skills, preferably data analysis skills, are requiredSolid experience with query languages such as SQLExperience with ETL Tools (i.e.

Informatica), Snaplogic is a plusShould have proven general experience programming languages and relational databasesExcellent oral and written communication skillsWork optimally as a team memberDemonstrate solid leadership skills; are highly organized, self-motivated with strong time management skills and an ability to handle various tasks simultaneouslyAbility to thrive in a matrix-managed environment across multiple locations and functionsBroad application/technology experience is a plusThe Value You Deliver:Analyzing the client source data to identify issues, potential causes, and suggested remediationNavigating the organization, bringing together interested parties, negotiating differences, and drawing effective conclusionsAsking appropriate questions to extract information, follow up and bring closure to issuesLearning and applying WI's Systems and Processes as they pertain to the job (such as analysis process and data loading process)
